Tired of being out of shape? Well in my opinion I do not think supplements help the cause. I have been an athlete for a good portion of my life and have never gotten into supplements until my high school years. Even then I would have to say that they do not work. I was actually on facebook the other night and there was ad that popped up on this supplement called ACAI BURN along with other supplements that are suppose to help burn fat and increase your stamina. I do workout at a gym along with some of my other friends who have been working out for quite some time now and they all have not use any supplements of any kind and have all achieved their goals. It is true that protein shakes do help make you bigger but in my opinion thats literally what it does is make YOU BIGGER! I am talking about looking bloated instead of ripped with muscle. When i was taking protein shakes all it did for me was make me look bloated and i was very dissapointed with the results. I was actually talking to one of the personal trainers at my gym and he agreed and said that working out naturally and eating right is the best way to go. He said if you want to get bigger then you need to increase the amount of weight you are lifting and lower your reps and if you want to just get ripped than reverse that process. I feel that this is a very big issue in that a lot of people i see in the gym now are using supplements that Im sure they did not fully research and are paying the price. Then again it may be working up to their standards but in my opinion i don’t think they work. I feel very strongly about this because I was a victim of the “bloated” outcome of taking supplements. A good diet and working out NATURALLY is the best way to go in my opinion. I know that everyone wants to get that summer look as soon as possible but patience, hard work, and determination is really your best bet here.
